About the event
This one-day seminar is designed for current instructors as well as those aspiring to teach in the future. Attendance is open to all — not only members of Aikido Shimbokukai, but also practitioners from any lineage or affiliation who wish to deepen their understanding of instruction and dojo leadership.
Focus Topics for 2025:
Part 1: Beyond the Technique – Teaching Aikido with Purpose
Four senior instructors from a variety of affiliations and lineages will share their insights on pedagogy, class structure, and the philosophy of teaching Aikido:
Tres Hofmeister Shihan (7th Dan, Aikido Schools of Ueshiba)
Meido Moore Shihan (7th Dan, Aikido Shimbokukai)
