Carry It Forward
Everything practiced at Mushinkan Kokyo has been entrusted to us by those who came before.
Our responsibility is simple: to care for these traditions, to practice them sincerely, and to pass them forward so that others may one day discover them for themselves.
If you believe this work is worthwhile, there are many ways to help.
Practice
The greatest support you can offer is your continued practice.
Every class, every lesson, and every return to the tatami helps preserve traditions that have been shared across generations. By practicing sincerely, you become part of that living tradition, ensuring it continues long after we are gone.
Share
Many of our students first arrived because someone they trusted simply said, “Come with me.”
If Mushinkan Kokyo has been meaningful to you, consider sharing it with a friend, family member, or someone who may be looking for a place to begin. Sometimes the simplest invitation changes everything.
Volunteer
A dojo is cared for by the people who practice within it.
Whether helping during an event, lending a professional skill, or simply offering an extra pair of hands, every act of generosity strengthens the community and allows us to continue serving others.
Contribute
Financial contributions help care for the dojo, maintain the tatami, replace equipment, support educational events, and create opportunities for more people to experience traditional Japanese martial arts.
Every gift, regardless of size, helps preserve a place where thoughtful instruction, shared practice, and lifelong learning can continue to flourish.
Thank You
No one owns a tradition.
For a little while, each of us is simply entrusted with its care before passing it forward to the next generation.
Thank you for helping preserve a place where people can begin where they are, practice together, and discover something meaningful through the traditions we are honored to share.
