About the event
The 2026 Midwest Aikido Bridge Seminar returns to Milwaukee Shobukan Dojo from Friday, March 20 (5:00 PM) through Sunday, March 22 (1:00 PM) for three full days of focused training, shared inquiry, and the steady refinement that comes from attentive practice and thoughtful reflection.
Across 12 classes over three days, practitioners will train under the guidance of Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan, Meido MooreShihan, and Lisa Tomoleoni Shihan, with excellent instruction and support from Matt Lowry Sensei, Dwight SoraSensei, and Christi Wise Sensei.
This seminar is called a bridge for a reason: between lineages, generations, approaches, and ideas. Expect thoughtful instruction, challenging practice, and moments of clarity that arise through both physical engagement and quiet internal reflection. You will train alongside aikidoka from across the region—different styles, shared principles—speaking the same physical language through movement, balance, and connection.
Registration details and fees will be available through the Aikido Shimbokukai website. Please follow the…
