About the event

In the past, Shizan involved testing swords on various materials, including infamous historical practices on cadavers. Today, we've shifted our focus to the precision and skill of the swordsman. Targets, often goza or tatami omote mats, are set vertically or horizontally, presenting a range of challenging cuts in different directions.

To ensure an optimal experience for everyone, we've set a cap of 5 mats per participant. This cap not only allows for a meaningful session but also helps us manage the timeframe effectively. If you're keen to join this immersive experience, please RSVP with Brian Sensei in advance, specifying the number of mats you'd like to cut.

Don't miss out on this exciting day of cutting on January 28th at 4 pm. Contact Brian Sensei today to secure your spot and bring your enthusiasm for an unforgettable session!
